Olympic weightlifting course

We’re excited to introduce our Women’s Olympic Weightlifting course!A five-week journey designed to help you build confidence, strength, and understanding through the fundamentals of Olympic lifting.
Starting 8th November
Five 90 minute sessions on Saturdays at 12:45pm

Each 90-minute session will explore squat mechanics and lifting mechanics as the foundation of effective strength training, teaching you how to move efficiently, safely, and with purpose.
You’ll learn to perform the snatch and clean & jerk step-by-step, while also developing an appreciation for how proper technique enhances power, stability, and long-term performance.
Our sessions will include tailored warm-ups that promote better movement quality, coordination, and control.

This course is beginner-friendly and welcomes all women, with specific consideration for pre- and postnatal needs, pelvic health, and overall women’s health.
Our goal is to make Olympic lifting accessible, empowering, and educational for every participant, regardless of where you’re starting from.

The course will be led by Samantha Williams, a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist, qualified weightlifting coach, and international athlete who works closely with competitive international lifters in her physiotherapy practice. Samantha brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, coaching experience, and firsthand athletic insight to help you move well, lift well, and truly understand your strength.
